About Me

I’m an artist inspired by my life in the northwestern states and dramatic contrast between the lush Pacific Northwest where I grew up and the striking beauty of the high desert in where I reside today. The natural world is my constant source of inspiration— especially the sky, flowers, wildlife, and sweeping landscapes.

My creative process is deeply influenced by the adventures I share with my husband, Nick, and our dog. We love to spend time hiking, camping, and traveling. Nick is a talented photographer, and his images from our travels often spark new ideas in my studio.

I’ve always been drawn to the transformative power of art—how color and texture can shape a mood or space. I studied Psychology at Gonzaga University, where I also discovered a passion for oil painting and pursued an art minor. While watercolor was my first love, oils are now my primary medium, and I continue to explore new techniques and materials that push me creatively.
